Cytec Announces Price Increases on Amino Resins in Europe, Middle East and Africa

West Paterson, NJ ― September 26, 2008 ― Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) announced today to its customers it will raise prices up 8%, depending on the grade, for its CYMEL^® and CYREZ^® amino-crosslinking resins on all shipments in Europe, Middle East and Africa on or after November 1st 2008, or as contracts allow.

The announced changes are necessary to offset continued increase of overall costs.
