Cytec Announces Price Increase for Amino Resins in Asia
Pacific
West Paterson, N.J., September 12, 2008 ― Cytec Industries Inc.
(NYSE:CYT) announced today that they will increase prices for
CYMEL™, MYCOAT™, MELMAC™, BECKAMINE™ and UFORMITE™ amino resins
in Asia Pacific.
The price increase will range from 33 cents to US$1.20 per Kg
and will take effect for all shipments on or after October 1,
2008 or as contract terms allow. This adjustment is necessitated
by increases in raw materials.
